Karyn Brianne Watkins is a passionate healthcare and nonprofit communicator focused on using new media to promote positive social and health behaviors.

Karyn is the Founder of The Fabulous Giver, a website promoting a giving lifestyle and the many charitable initiatives of brands and nonprofit organizations. She is also the co-founder of The Red Pump Project, a nationwide HIV/AIDS awareness nonprofit focused on women and girls. Originally launched in March 2009 as a blogger initiative, The Red Pump Project now has an online and ground presence via the support of Red Pump ambassadors across the country.

Karyn serves on the American Cancer Society’s National Blogger Advisory Council and is a board member of the Chicago Women’s AIDS Project. Karyn is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and can currently be found volunteering, living, and working in public relations in Chicago.
